WORKSHOP OFFERINGS

Creative

Workshop offerings include Creative Writing, Songwriting, Remixing for Social Change, and Art as Storytelling.

Artist-Changemaking

While the social justice themes in these workshops may overlap with a couple of the creative workshops, the artist-changemaking workshops have less of a goal of creating artistic works and focus more on the “how” behind the changemaking aspect of the work. Offerings include: Creative Disruption, Arts-Activism 101 (includes brief history of arts-activism and how it is actualized by various artists), and Strategies for Tangible Arts-Activism, Tools for Effective Messaging.

The Artist as an Entrepreneur

These workshops are aimed at supporting artists in understanding the business aspect of their craft. Offerings range from Crafting your Unique Artistic Identity, Creative Marketing for Artists, Asset Mapping for Artists, Cultural Equity within one’s Artistic Practice, and Pathways to Sustainability as an Independent Artist.
